Indicated is a walled garden in Athleague, County Roscommon, Ireland. The garden holds a fortified house built before 1640 by one of the earls of Clanrickard, who owned Athleague at that time. A wall base about 0.6m wide and high defines the garden, which the mill-race surrounds.

On the E bank of a NE-SW section of the River Suck, at a point where river turns NW. In 1640 Athleague was owned by the earl of Clanrickard, and one of the earls probably built the fortified house (RO041-048005-) before then. The house is within a walled garden (dims c. 100m N-S; c. 90m N-S) defined by the base of a wall (Wth c. 0.6m; H c. 0.6m) surrounded by the mill-race (RO041-048013-).
