What is recorded here

Grave Yard in County Limerick holds the ruined St. Martin's Church inside a rectangular stone boundary stretching thirty-seven metres north-south and forty-eight metres east-west. Memorials from the 18th century onwards mark the deaths of people whose names have faded from living memory. The north gate admits visitors into a quiet field where forgotten lives still occupy the earth.
The ruins of St. Martin's Church (LI040-088001-) stands in N quadrant of rectangular shaped graveyard (approx. dims. 37m N-S x 48m E-W) enclosed by post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at N. Memorials dating from the 18th century onwards. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 17 June 2019
