What is recorded here

Indicated is an oval fairy fort on a NE-facing Galway slope, its earth bank partly swallowed by a later field wall. The missing southern arc does not read like decay but like withdrawal, as if the ring pulled inward to hide its underground passage and chamber. A person walking that grassland at dusk may still feel the tilt of the ground, not as memory but as invitation.

On a NE-facing slope in grassland. Oval ringfort (N-S c. 45m, E-W c. 25m), in fair condition, defined by a bank of earth and stone which is overlain by a field wall from N to SE. No visible surface trace survives from SE through S to SW. Within the interior is a probable Man-made underground passage (GA041-001001-) and a CBG (GA041-001002-) is associated.
