Sweathouse in Ardcolman is a sweathouse in Ardcolman, County Roscommon, Ireland. It stands on the north-facing slope of a short east-west ridge near early modern field systems and a nineteenth-century house site. The circular beehive structure has a 1.35m internal diameter, though its roof and entrance are destroyed and only 1.35m of height survives.
On the N-facing slope of a short E-W ridge in an area of early modern field systems and with the site of a 19th century house c. 50m to the W. This is a circular beehive construction (int. diam. 1.35m) but the roof and entrance are destroyed (surviving H1.35m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
