Architectural fragment in Sweetfarm

Some dressed stones from Kilcarbry church (WX026-013001-) are built into the wall of an 18th or 19th century corn mill on the W-E River Bora. A pointed doorway (Wth 1.02m; H 2.3m) with a dressed granite surround in a 19th century style is thought to have come from the church c. 150m to the SE, but this is unlikely. Other medieval dressed stones are in the surrounds of an adjacent carriage entrance. Three stones have chamfers with decorated stops, there are two stones with fluting and one stone that is part of a window sill with provision for a mullion.
