What is recorded here

Indicated is a small natural spring beside a roughly built stone shrine at An Tuairín Mín, County Galway, known locally as Tobar Naomh Thomáis. It sits close to the seashore on the north bank of a stream, where fresh water and salt air meet. People once believed the cold water could ease eye trouble, a quiet promise hidden in an ordinary Galway landscape.
