Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Altans, County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular area spans roughly 16 metres and sits on level ground close to the west bank of a stream. A much degraded earthen bank encloses the centre, while a field fence cuts across the south edge.

In pasture, situated on level ground close to the W bank of a stream. Raised circular area (diam. c. 16m) enclosed by a much degraded, low earthen bank (Wth. c. 3m; int. H 0.25m; ext.
