Rathpatrick Ringfort (rath)

Rathpatrick Ringfort stands in County Kilkenny, a buried circle of earth and memory rather than a building anyone still walks inside. The land may have hidden herds, children or frightened adults when storms broke over the plain. Its absence from modern sight does not remove it from the world. The ground still carries the shape of hands that dug it, even if those hands have forgotten the sky.
