What is recorded here

Fassagh holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still traces the shape of human ambition. The official record preserves the name and point but leaves the life inside the circle unfinished. Perhaps children ran its rim at dusk or farmers turned soil within its shadow before memory faded. The land keeps what writing dropped.
