What is recorded here

Dungonnell holds a rath, an earthwork built by human hands during the later medieval period. It stands in County Antrim as a marker of local life, possibly a dwelling, a boundary or a place of resistance. The land has kept its shape while the names and events around it faded, leaving the mound as a quiet witness to the people who formed it.
