What is recorded here

Clontirriff holds a rath, an ancient earthwork where human hands shaped the land before modern borders existed. The site remains marked in official records, preserving a shape that may have served as shelter, status or sanctuary for people whose names vanished. Its survival depends only on recognition, yet recognition requires imagination. The hill does not need proof of grandeur because earthwork itself is grandeur: a boundary drawn by living bodies against rain, time and forgetting.
