What is recorded here

Ballinderry New Church emerged during the seventeenth century, forcing worship into a new shape after medieval habits collapsed. Its graveyard holds forgotten locals who stopped running when the cannon stopped shouting. The listed stones still mark the field where fear became routine and prayer replaced panic.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as C17TH CHURCH & GRAVEYARD: BALLINDERRY NEW CHURCH. Recorded period: POST-MED; C17TH. Recorded protection: Listed. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
