Moira Castle vanished before records arrived, leaving only a hidden castle site in County Down. The missing walls may have stood tall, blocked a road, or watched a valley, but human hands built them and human forgetting removed them. What remains is a gap shaped like a castle, waiting for a shovel or a memory to complete its outline.
