The R.C. Chapel at Lisnafunshin was built in the early 19th century, likely as a Roman Catholic place of worship before being converted into a school in 1849. Its original builder is not recorded, but it reflects the religious and educational needs of the local community in a period of Catholic emancipation and institutional development.
