What is recorded here

Quay, rebuilt 1849, with limestone ashlar battered wall having lichen-covered tooled cut-limestone coping.
A lengthy quay front reconstructed under the Fisheries (Ireland) Act, 1846, and with the financial assistance of a grant (1846) from the Board of Public Works (established 1831), representing an important component of the nineteenth-century maritime civil engineering heritage of County Mayo.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
