What is recorded here
On the S face of a hillock. Two hachured features marked on the 1945-6 revision of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1985 to be two partially infilled, grass-covered hollows quarry pits. As they are of post-AD 1700 date they do not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
