In pastureland. A hachured feature marked on the 1932 edition of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1984 to be a disused gravel pit defined by a hollow (diam. c. 30m; D 2m) overgrown with trees and bushes. Probably of 19th/20th-century date.
