What is recorded here

Indicated is a circular fairy fort in level Galway grassland, thirty-five and a half metres across, still defined by a scarp and external fosse. Trees have taken root along its perimeter, softening the ancient edge but not erasing the shape. The fort belongs to nobody visible now, yet it keeps its boundary like a living thing remembering how to hold form.

In level grassland. Circular rath (D 35.5m), in fair condition, defined by a scarp and external fosse. Trees have been planted along the perimeter of the scarp.
