Quarry depicted on the 1837 ed. OSi six-inch map as a small D-shaped excavated area (approx. dims. 12m N-S x 17m E-W) in the NE corner of a field on the townland boundary with Flemingtown. Outlined as a small semi-circular shaped area on the last edition of the OSi six-inch map. Depicted as a semi-circular shaped area on the S side of a field boundary running E-W on the 1863 ed. OSi 25-inch map. Not visible on the 2013-2018 MapGenie orthoimagery of the area.
