What is recorded here

Mnemo is a promontory fort on the Atlantic coast of County Galway, where ancient defences still face the open sea. Its exact age and builders have not been recorded in the public source provided, but its shape suggests people valued the cliff edge enough to strengthen it. The ocean has since taken much of what was built there, leaving a boundary marked more by water than stone.
