A short length of roundwood (L 0.34m; diam. 0.07m) was located on the field surface, 1.65m WNW of a drain, and was being milled. The WNW end had a wedge point, probably metal cut. Only 0.05m from the opposite, or ESE, shoulder of the drain and on the axis of the roundwood fragment, a brushwood post or peg (diam. 0.04m) protruded through the milled surface. No other associated wood was evident. (Dunne 1999, 35, 99DBSE0026A)
