Wall-mounted cast-iron post box, c.1905, with royal monogram of Edward VII, and 'POST OFFICE' in raised lettering. Set into dashed wall.
This post box is an historical survival from the era of colonial control of Ireland and still functions one hundred years after it was placed in the wall.
