Polldine Fort, Finanagh is a ringfort, typically dating to the early medieval period (c. 500–1000 AD), and like many such sites in Ireland, it is often associated with local folklore involving fairies or ancient inhabitants. While specific historical accounts are lacking, the name "Finanagh" may hint at a historical or legendary figure connected to the site.
