What is recorded here
Pobbles Bay West consists of Carboniferous limestone, formed around 340–320 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. The cliff is notable for its exposure of durable sedimentary rock that has resisted coastal erosion to a greater extent than surrounding areas.
