In Feugh, County Fermanagh, a platform rath became a tree ring, its ancient shape repeated in living wood. The modern record preserves that strange reuse, where human making and natural growth share one line.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as PLATFORM RATH reused as TREE RING. Recorded period: MODERN; E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
