What is recorded here

A number of closely packed small and large pieces of brushwood (exposed L 2m, Wth 1.6m) were exposed on a field surface that was being milled immediately to the WNW of a drain. Most of it extended longitudinally in an ENE-WSW direction. One large piece of brushwood (diam. 0.06m; exposed L 1.6m) had a chisel-point end. Additional transverse rods extended over and under this large element. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a platform.
