Situated on flat bogland. The site consisted of a wooden platform (dims. 3.5m N-S x 4.1m E-W) constructed of parallel horizontal roundwwod resting on a layer of irregularly laid brushwood and roundwood (Murray 1999, Derryfadda 213, 48-9).
