Situated on flat bogland. The site consisted of a platform (dims. 8.2m x 3.2m) constructed with a linear deposit of roundwood and brushwood supporting the main surface of timbers. Two headed shafts of cherry wood were found amonst the lower level of wood (Murray and Ó Néill 1999, Derryfadda 9, 31-2).
