This is the record for the pit excavated by Goorik Dehaene (E3257) on the N11 road improvement scheme. The pit may be a tree bole and a radiocarbon date in the early Bronze Age suggests it may be the remains of an oak tree burnt here at that time. (Dehaene 2009p)
