Phil Prendergast

Philomena Foley, later Phil Prendergast, entered the world in County Kilkenny on 20 September 1959. That ordinary birthplace became the starting point for a life spent assisting others through difficulty, first as a midwife and later as a public representative. The girl born there grew into a woman who carried responsibility across several institutions, shaping her decisions with patience rather than pride.
