Corner-sited end-of-terrace two-bay three-storey house, built c. 1870, now also in use as public house. Rendered walls to upper floors with roughcast render walls to ground floor. Pitched slate roofs with rendered and brick chimneystacks. Replacement uPVC windows, fixed windows and timber panelled doors.

Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this house remains an important addition to the streetscape. The scale and form of the building make it a notable contributor to the surrounding area. Located on a corner site, this house defines the corner, and marks the beginning of the densely built terraces of the Shandon area to the north-west.
