Situated on a low ridge in undulating grassland with good views all around. Ringfort (WM012-157---) 200m to NE. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as an oval-shaped enclosure annotated as ‘fort’ with a gravel pit immediately to SW and limekiln to N. Poorly preserved monument consisting of a curve in the field fence from SW-W-NW which preserves the enclosing bank of the levelled ringfort.
