What is recorded here
Depicted as a circular shaped enclosure on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. The monument is not depicted on the revised 1911 ed. OS 25-inch map where only the curving field bank at S indicates the location of the levelled monument. The curving field boundary visible from S-W follows line of enclosing bank of ringfort which has been levelled elsewhere and is clearly visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
