What is recorded here
Situated on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture, with good views from SW-W-N and NE. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular-shaped earthwork. Levelled monument described in 1971 as no surface remains visible. A field boundary curving from SSW-W-N follows the outline of the monument and may incorporate the original enclosing bank of the ringfort.
We would classify this as ‘Ringfort’ based on the field report and mapping.
