Situated on a slight rise in well drained pasture land with good views of the surrounding countryside. Ringfort (WM011-064----) 155m to N. The townland boundary with Heathland is 140m to NE. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 33m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by a very poorly preserved earthen bank and slight external fosse. The interior has a slight slope from W-E. A field fence running NE-SW intersects the monument at S.
