What is recorded here
This inaccessible Man-made underground passage is situated in level pasture, a short distance S of the Owenroe river. The site is marked by an upright slab, beneath which is a small ope, .4m x .2m, blocked with field clearance debris.
The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'. Cork University Press (1996), no. 860. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
