Built in 1714 on site of Maraha (Murragh) Castle (CO109-070----) (Healy 1988, 275) by A. Bernard for his wife Ann Power (Bence-Jones 1978, 230). S wing remains; rectangular in plan with additions to S and W; brick built with limestone detail. Two-bay, single storey (over semi-basement), crowned with curvilinear dutch gable; fluted stone pilasters in brick moulded pediment. Brick panelling below windows. In field to N are remains of brick built structure (int. 4.4m E-W; wall thickness 0.8m) known locally as "Pigeon House". Brick built estate and garden walls survive.
