What is recorded here

Two circular platforms rise beside each other in County Down, their grassy edges still drawing the eye across open ground. They belong to the broad Christian era, yet they keep the older habit of building visible markers where people gathered, argued, worshipped or remembered. The pair suggests comparison itself: one for life, one for departure; one for the living, one for the dead.
