What is recorded here

Situated in undulating pasture. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a substantial subcircular-shaped earthwork (approx. dims. 68m ENE-WSW; 58m NNW-SSE) adjoining the S side of a ‘Corn & Tuck Mill’ complex. Depicted on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as an irregular-shaped enclosure which is open to the mill complex at N. Levelled monument is visible today as a large suboval-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
