What is recorded here

Situated on the NW side of the summit of a prominent ridge in an area of pasture, with extensive views to the NW, NE and SW. Ringfort (WM006-013----) 190m to SE. An oval area (approx. diam. 66m NE-SW) enclosed by a well preserved earthen bank from W-N-E-SW, with a possible entrance gap (Wth 1.6m) at SE. A small block of stone laid on edge at the SW side may represent internal revetment to the bank. From W to SE, the perimeter of the site is formed by the townland boundary with Windtown South.
