On S side of Greenish Island, in pasture, near the confluence of the River Deel and the River Shannon. Monument visible as a D-shaped area (approx. dims. 37m E-W x 31m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank on S promontory of Greenish Island with large enclosure (LI010-045----) 85m to N.
