What is recorded here
Situated on elevated NE facing slope of a prominent hill in grassland. Depicted on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map as a small circular enclosure (approx. diam. 19m) forming the SW corner of a field. The enclosure is not marked as an antiquity on the 1838 ed. OS 6-inch map. A kink in the field boundary from S-SW reflects part of the original enclosure. No surface remains visible of levelled monument.
