The Old Man of Coniston rises to approximately 676 meters and is the highest peak in the Coniston Fells, part of the larger Lake District National Park. It is composed mainly of Borrowdale Volcanic Group rocks and is a popular destination for walkers due to its scenic position overlooking Coniston Water.
