This churchyard formed part of the roadway approach to Old London Bridge 1176 - 1831
This site was part of the historic approach to Old London Bridge, a vital crossing of the River Thames from 1176 until its replacement in 1831. The area reflects the medieval and early modern development of London's infrastructure and transport networks.
