Private burial ground of the Grove and Grove-Annesley families (Grove White 1905-25, vol. 1, 66). Marked on 1842 OS 6-inch map as oval area (c. 20m NW-SE; c. 10m NE-SW) on edge of woodland in demesne of Anne's Grove; marked on 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps as sub-oval area (c. 85m NW-SE; c. 30m NE-SW) in woodland, extended to W since 1842 map. Burial ground enclosed by stone wall and entered from E; short cist (11935) at E end.
