What is recorded here
Oileán na Tuí is a small Galway islet where a squat white lighthouse and red metalwork have guarded the approach to Cill Rónáin since 1878. Its unusual shape, polygonal compound and lean-to outbuilding suggest a working maritime place rather than a decorative monument. The islet still belongs to the busy water between land and sea, where light, stone and distance measure the risk of night sailing.
Oileán na Tuí is recorded as a islet in County Galway. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
