What is recorded here
Discovered in the early 1980s when a Man-made underground passage uncovered nearby (CO050-100002-) was being surveyed. The inscription is cut along the edge of a lintel. Four letters were visible and read as either QUTQ OR NUVN (pers. comm. J.P. McCarthy). The Man-made underground passage was subsequently closed and the ogham stone remains in position. (Power et al. 1997, no. 7975)
