What is recorded here

Half-buried in the north-west corner of a children’s grave field, a broken ogham stone tilts with its name cut along one edge and lost beneath the soil. It stands inside an old church enclosure in County Kerry, marked only by scattered rocks and a gap where the top once rose. The child may have been CIRE or CUORE, but the earth has taken the rest.

In the NW corner of a children's burial ground (KE048-113002-) and within a possible ecclesiastical enclosure (KE048-113001-). A roughly rectangular stone (H 0.5m; 0.2m x 0.12m) on a NE-SW axis. There is an ogham inscription which reads '…CIRE…or '...CUORE…' along the SW arris. This inscription extends below the ground. The top of the stone appears to have been broken off.
