What is recorded here
Sandstone (H 3ft 2in; 1ft x 5in), found by Power (1914, 201) built into a gate pier in a farm wall. The stone is now on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork (CO074-151----). The inscription is pocked and rubbed and was read by Macalister (1945, 65, no. 61) as OLAGNI MAQ[...H (see also McManus 2004, 21-2, no. 24: OLAGNI MAq...). The surface is flaked away as far as the L so a latter may have preceded the O; the top is broken away after the Q. (Power et al. 1994, no. 4232)
