What is recorded here

Marked only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with no houses in the vicinity. It is situated on the S bank of a small E-W stream, in a wide valley bottom. It was identified by Donadl Murphy and recorded as a circular drystone-walled structure with the entrance facing NW. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
